Our Culinary Team Building Events are perfect for celebrating a success, motivating your team to work together toward a new goal, or entertaining clients. We have created fun cooking parties at holidays, project kickoffs, client conferences, product launches, and annual meetings for firms in a variety of industries. Whatever the occasion, we can cook up something exciting and delicious for you.
Bake, Broil, Bond
Step into our state-of-the-art kitchen to strengthen team skills by preparing a customized menu and enjoying it in our elegant dining room. Whether your team is sixteen people or sixty, cooking together is the ultimate bonding experience, or in some cases the ultimate competition. Either way it’s a fun departure from the office setting.
Preparing a meal is a group task not all that different from a business project. The delicious food your group creates becomes the focus for working on common goals, sharing responsibility, and appreciating individual skills.
Food is the natural rapport builder – it transcends cultural and social barriers. When food and dining are combined with teambuilding and experiential learning, people are more likely to work together and understand success quicker and more effectively. For both the novice and the experienced cook, it is a challenge requiring full focus, openness to constructive criticism, constant learning, and most importantly, teamwork.
Dish It Up!
The format is a lunch or dinner where cooking is part of the entertainment. We'll assign roles and work teams, and even appoint group leaders. If groups are large enough, we can implement an "Iron-Chefs"- styled cook-off between two groups. We will work with you in advance to coordinate a menu that meets the likes and dietary restrictions of your entire group. We will work with you to structure a class around your particular objectives. At the end of our session, your group will share in the fruits of their labor as they enjoy the full multi-course meal they prepared.
How Does It Work?
When your team arrives, you will enjoy a platter of freshly prepared appetizers with a welcome drink. We'll describe the evening's menu, outlining basic techniques you'll master, then divide your team into stations. You'll cook for 1 – 1 ½ hours, whipping up an incredibly tasty meal, then sit down to savor the fruits of your labor.
Go Gourmet supplies the expert culinary instructor(s) and all the ingredients and equipment. You need just supply your guests. Before you know it, everyone is seated and enjoying a four-course meal they just helped create!
Simply choose a party theme (or we can custom create one for you), tell us the number of guests and we handle the rest of details. We provide all the cooking equipment, recipes, kitchen set-up, ingredients and experienced instruction. Once the food is prepared, we serve your guests and clean up after ourselves.

Team Building Payment and Cancellation Policy. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to schedule a class. The balance is due 60 days before the event and is nonrefundable. Classes scheduled less than 60 days before the event require full, nonrefundable payment when booked.
Alcoholic Beverages: Go Gourmet is BYOB. We would be happy to suggest wines, beers or other drinks to accompany your menu. We can suggest wine vendors and wines that you can have delivered to our location prior to your party so that we can pre-chill your selections and have your beverages set up when you and your guests arrive.
Dates/Times: Cooking Parties are held Monday-Wednesdays anytime afternoon or evening.
Minimum charge for parties held on other nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) is HK$20,000.
